Had a modified radical mastectomy followed by a prophylactic mastectomy with expander. I will be having an additional reconstructive surgery on October 8th.


6 1/2 weeks of radiation in August, 2008


Four months of dose-dense chemotherapy along with a shot of Neulasta after each session.


Started Tamoxifen during radiation. Having hot flashes still!!

Hiya Kelly,

Thanks for the encouragement. I had so much pain on my first round that I will talk to the Dr. about Monday when I see him.

I went wig shopping today. I made the best of it. I tried every wig on in the shop and there were a lot of wigs. I did a little skit with each wig. Everyone laughed.
